Lifestyle and vegan-vegetarian cuisine

In the oldest part of the hotel, you’ll find the trendy “Giodi Vegetarian & Co.” Veggie and flexi lovers meet here and let themselves be spoiled with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the stylish restaurant or in summer on the wind-protected sun terrace. Meat or fish are available on request only as “side vegetables”.
The art nouveau hall is the culinary heart of the hotel. Here you can celebrate and enjoy, stock up on local products at the lovingly prepared breakfast buffet and in the evening enjoy market-fresh à la carte dishes from the kitchen of Kari Walker and her team.

From Saracen bath to summer pool

In the spa area, guests can experience the oriental Saracen bath, a reinterpretation of the hamam. In addition, the spa features an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, relaxation room and much more. Of course, various massage and beauty treatments with Babor and OPI products are also offered.
In the hotel park, the highest and largest outdoor pool in the Upper Engadine, the Bagnera, beckons. It is heated to a pleasant 27 degrees Celsius from the end of June to September. During the high season, snacks, grills and salads are served by the Café Bagnera directly on the waterfront.

35,000 square meters of vacation: Mindfulness & Action

Space and time is luxury. There is certainly no lack of space at the Hotel Saratz.
The large hotel park is both a wellness oasis and a place of experience. Here, guests can individually explore the park with mindful and decelerating exercises and enjoy BEING in the midst of nature.

Kids, kids!

The Saratz is an experienced family hotel. Children are professionally taken care of, so there is also the perfect offer for every age.
The kids can do gymnastics on the Robinson playground – complete with trampoline, teepee tent and sandbox. Or they can dash across one of the two flow trails, have fun on the cross mini-golf or explore the nature park with the Romanesque gorge, the historic bridge and the old pavilion.

Golf and biking

Golfers get their money’s worth in the surrounding area, e.g. in Samedan and Zuoz (18 holes) or in St. Moritz (9 holes). There, hotel guests benefit from a 20 percent green fee reduction.
If you are less of a golfer and more of a biker, you can explore the Engadine with the Cannondale mountain bikes, which the hotel provides free of charge.

Winter sports

Corviglia, Corvatsch or Diavolezza/Lagalb – in winter you have the choice between various top ski areas and winter sports. The hotel shuttle runs free of charge between the hotel and the Corviglia ski area in Celerina. Tobogganing pros can really let off steam on the toboggan run on Muottas Muragl and Preda/Bergün. Cross-country skiers strap on their skis at the hotel and then turn directly onto perfectly groomed dream trails in Saratz Park.

Sustainability

In order to increase the use of renewable energy and reduce CO2 emissions, the Hotel Saratz has built a geothermal plant. The borehole for the extraction of geothermal energy is located in the hotel park and goes 1347 meters deep. The thermal energy obtained in this way covers around 60 percent of the heating requirements of the entire hotel and saves around 70,000 liters of heating oil per year, which corresponds to a CO2 emission of 180 tons. The Saratz is also aiming for sustainability certification with the Swiss ibexfarstay label by the end of 2024, making a further statement for a sustainable future.
