The rustic finca hotel with 12 rooms is located in the southeast of Mallorca, far from any tourism, surrounded by meadows, fields and fruit trees. The hotel’s own olive plantation, the orange & lemon garden and the landscaped pool area make the country idyll perfect.

Accommodation

The finca hotel Son Valls dates back to 1597. The country house is a listed building and has hardly been changed structurally, but extended piece by piece. For generations, the finca hotel was owned by the Majorcan family Monserrat and was first opened as a hotel in 1995. The 12 rooms are of different sizes and different furnishings. If you’re looking for perfection, modern design and standardized rooms, you’d be better off going to one of the many boutique hotels on Mallorca. With the finca hotel Son Valls we give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the authentic rural Mallorca and enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Food & Drink

A full breakfast with vegetarian/vegan components is included in all our prices. Breakfast is served buffet style between 08:30 – 10:00 on 7 days. Depending on the weather and season, this takes place outside in our courtyard or in the historic Knights Hall.

Our buffet makes “breakfast lovers hearts” beat faster. Fruit salad, muesli, various spreads, jams, orange juice and much more – of course also vegan options.

In addition, an outdoor kitchen will be available in our pool area, where you can prepare everything from pasta to light salads to cocktails together on warm summer evenings. With fresh ingredients from the local markets in the surrounding towns, you can also try your hand at recreating Majorcan specialties. Our house managers will be happy to tell you when and where you can find the markets. Drinks are available around the clock in the Knights Hall (for a fee).

Location & Activities

The finca hotel Son Valls is located in the middle of the beautiful nature of Mallorca. On site there are numerous walking & jogging routes, as well as wonderful bike paths to the nearest towns. Felanitx and Porreres are two small, relatively “unspectacular” villages in Mallorca and it is this feature that makes them so valuable to us.

In no travel guide they are particularly highlighted and thus few tourists stray into their centers. Once a week there is a classic market where typical island products are offered. On the other days, things are more tranquil. Simple, rustic tapas bars and small stores in the village square are the meeting place of the locals in every village.

Activities

The rural location of the finca allows for absolute relaxation in nature. Whether you prefer to relax by the pool and soak up the sun or you are looking forward to action and movement. The finca is a great starting point for running, hiking or even to explore the surroundings by bike. For this you have some high-quality and well-maintained bikes, 5 mountain bikes and 2 city bikes, the brand “Ghost” available. The rental incl. helmet is possible for a small fee.

Via finca roads, away from the busy main roads, you can head for the small towns in the area and the island shows itself from a completely different side far away from mass tourism. Also scenic highlights, such as the monastery mountains San Salvador and Randa, are located in the immediate vicinity of the Fincahotel Son Valls.
