Architecture & Design

Architecture by Mauritian Jean-Francois Adam combined with the interior by multi award-winning designer Kelly Hoppen CBE, offer innovatively elegant luxury redefined. Each suite, villa, residence and penthouse are a labour of love resulting in the pinnacle of luxury and comfort, made to feel like a designer’s holiday home in the tropics. Settle in, relax, sunbathe, host some friends for a day party in your Penthouse, take a dip in your villa pool, or just do nothing else than laze in beauty and comfort.

Restaurants

The culinary experience will be first of its kind in the destination, offering a range creative concepts from East to West. Try Beach Rouge – LUX* Resorts & Hotels’ signature beach club concept open all day by the water’s edge. Here, you can either relax on a daybed by the pool or indulge in mouth-watering treats. Eye-catching Ai KISU, will put on a lively atmosphere and offer best-in-class Asian cuisine.

Expect a dimmed-down venue, decorated with a mirror ceiling, and a vitrine facing a majestic fire pit onside. Ai KISU – meaning ‘flame’ in Japanese – offers innovative dishes for all preferences using warayaki straw fire cooking in an open kitchen. Its accompanying private club will boast sleek interiors, pop-up dinner parties.

The jewel in the resort’s crown will be its expansive rooftop bar and restaurant Bisou which affords spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Indian Ocean. The adults-only area will be home to a 30m infinity pool which will serve tapas-style cuisine and is surrounded by cabanas and natural greenery. As night falls, the space transforms into a lounge bar where guests will enjoy lively music sets from the hotel’s resident DJ accompanied by the most iconic Mauritian sunsets.

European-inspired Maison LUX* located in the lobby of the hotel, will brew fresh, organic own-blend coffee and serve a curated selection of French, Italian and Spanish pastries, and homemade gelato – a beautiful spot at the heart of the resort to meet, enjoy or just pass by on the go.

LUX* Juniors

PLAY is all about mindfulness and modern experiences for children between three and 12 years old. With expertly curated activities that support individuality, self-discovery and development, programmes are centred around five pillars; eat well, move, care, feel and create. Children will try their hands at the Little Green Fingers gardening project, making gelato at the Ice Cream Lab and creating calm with a session of Junior Yoga. Teens will spend time at Studio 17 exploring games as well as honing their creative eye at the Photofanatics station.
