Here, the focus is on regional, seasonal and, if possible, organic food and products in all areas of the hotel and kitchen in order to have as little impact as possible on the Allgäu region and to preserve biodiversity.
“LESS plastic & LESS garbage” – is the motto of the house. The herbs come from the own herb garden, honey from own bee colonies and other food from local farms and also from the own alp. Enjoyment is tangible and edible here.

Frank’s Soulfood Natural Cuisine

Hotel owner and chef Frank Übelhör draws inspiration for his “Allgäu natural spice cuisine” from forays into the wildly romantic Allgäu foothills of the Alps. There you will find wild garlic, moss, wild herbs and the finest berries, among other things. Regional markets and select local growers provide plenty of fresh vegetables, fruits, ancient grains and Allgäu hemp products for plant-based cuisine.

This hip vegan food is often purely alkaline and is therefore also served during the in-house health cures, e.g. alkaline week according to Wacker and the detox days.
