The SEINZ Wisdom Resort is situated atop a hill overlooking Bad Kohlgrub, at an altitude of 900m above sea level. Located between Murnau and Oberammergau, south of Munich, the resort is nestled amidst tranquil meadows and majestic mountains, offering a peaceful and serene environment.

Unwind and relax

It is the perfect place for those looking to unwind and relax, and also serves as an ideal base for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, skiing, cross-country skiing, and tobogganing on the Hörnle and Ammergau Alps. The Hörnleschwebebahn is within walking distance, and the Bad Bayersoier lake is a short drive away. The hotel also offers a cross-country ski run and mini sled mountain right at its doorstep.
Guests can explore the nearby villages, monasteries, and castles, which are popular destinations with a diverse cultural program.
The SEINZ Wisdom Resort has been refurbished and extended biologically and boasts 60 rooms, all with private bathrooms and balconies. The rooms are radiation-free and do not have TVs, and the superior rooms are equipped with Cocomat natural bedding systems. Additionally, the resort has eight seminar and party rooms that can accommodate up to 190sqm.

Vegan plus

The resort offers a “vegan plus” lunch and dinner buffet, which is basically vegan, but guests can also request milk products and eggs. The kitchen uses organic produce, preferably of regional origin or own cultivation. Guests can also enjoy the breakfast buffet, which is complemented by home-baked organic bread and bread rolls. The resort’s wood stove regularly invites guests to create their own pizza.

Activities

The spa department offers effective massages and healing treatments that guests can book on-site. Additionally, a sauna is available for guests to use. The resort also has a varied ongoing program that offers a variety of topics for all guests, such as yoga in various forms, meditation, drumming, chants, guided walks, campfires, torchlight walks, Jin Shin Jiutsu, Zilgrei, and more.

Guests can relax amidst nature, clean air, and a wonderful panoramic view – in the house, on the spacious grounds, in the patios, the rose garden with a stage, and on the feel-good terrace. The resort offers various lounges like the chill-out area, farmhouse parlor, and music room with a grand piano and drums, as well as a large dining room for guests to unwind and socialize. Spontaneous jam sessions and playing music together are welcome. Children are welcome and integrated into their daily routine, either together or with their own program. Here, children are also allowed just “to be”.
The resort has an animal village with five horses, which allows for riding therapy, rides, or just stroking. In summer, the cows graze in the meadows around the hotel. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in public areas if required.
